tZERO Expands Multi-Chain Tokenization Infrastructure to Include Stellar, XDC, and Algorand Networks

This expansion enhances tZERO’s Tokenize + Trade + Connect business model by giving issuers the flexibility to select the blockchain network that best aligns with their asset’s structure, regulatory requirements, and target investor base. The result is a more adaptive and interoperable framework that supports a wide range of use cases - from digital securities and cross-border payment instruments to institutional-grade real-world assets (RWAs).

“Different assets require different technological foundations,” said Alan Konevsky, Chief Executive Officer, tZERO. “By integrating multiple Layer-1 networks into our open ecosystem, we’re giving issuers and investors the freedom to choose the platform that aligns best with their goals – whether that’s for speed, cost, or a specific ecosystem – all within the regulated, end-to-end environment tZERO provides.”

“tZERO’s ‘chain-agnostic’ strategy recognizes that different assets require different capabilities,” said Chris Russell, tZERO’s Chief Information Security Officer. “An issuer of a high-volume traded security may prioritize the low gas fees and high throughput of a Layer-2 or a high-performance L1, while an issuer of a tokenized real estate fund might prefer the deep security and established liquidity of a legacy L1.”

Expanding the Tokenization Landscape

Through these new integrations, tZERO’s infrastructure now supports the distinct capabilities of:

  • Stellar - Stellar is an open, configurable blockchain with a proven 10-year track record, purpose-built to enable the issuance and management of assets that reflect both on-chain and real-world financial services – from fully decentralized digital assets to compliance-forward and privacy-ready asset tokenization.
  • XDC Network - Designed with enterprise adoption in mind, XDC’s hybrid public-private architecture delivers both transparency and privacy, meeting the compliance demands of regulated sectors such as finance and logistics. Its XDC 2.0 mechanism enables high-throughput, low-latency transactions.
  • Algorand - Purpose-built for digital securities, Algorand’s Layer-1 “Algorand Standard Assets” (ASA) framework enables straightforward token creation with built-in regulatory controls such as freezing and clawback. Its Pure Proof-of-Stake (PPoS) protocol ensures fast, secure, and cost-effective settlement ideal for financial markets.

By expanding its reach across leading blockchain networks, tZERO continues to advance its Tokenize + Trade + Connect mission - bringing compliant tokenization, regulated trading, and seamless settlement to institutions and investors worldwide.
