Platform Ventures Launches Multifamily Development Platform

The investment firm has brought on Christopher N. Bennish to build out its multifamily platform

Platform Ventures (“Platform” or the “Firm”) today announced the launch of its multifamily development platform (“Platform Multifamily”) focused on ground-up apartment development and construction. This new venture further expands the Firm’s housing platform, leveraging its extensive experience in housing-related investments. Platform believes multifamily housing offers a blend of stability, income generation, and long-term growth potential, making the sector an attractive investment for investors seeking strong risk-adjusted returns.

Platform has appointed Christopher N. Bennish as Managing Director to lead this new strategic initiative, focusing on ground-up multifamily development in markets where Platform already has residential investments across the Central, Southeast, and Southwest United States.

Prior to joining Platform, Mr. Bennish served as development partner at Price Development Group, where he led all ground-up development initiatives, managing approximately 3,300 units totaling $750 million in capitalization across South Texas, Colorado, Nashville, and Kansas City. He previously held development roles at Alliance Residential in Denver and Houston, contributing to 1,700 units and $240 million in capitalization.
